Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Steve Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Hurko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Pagomari in the 14th minute of play forced Emaηski F.C Reborη's goalkeeper Jairo Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mayo booed when Emaηski F.C Reborη was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerius Ginsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deng Chang Xu to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Emaηski F.C Reborη's Deng Chang Xu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Bird. Alexander Bird yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Steve Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jairo Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Urban Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayo made a substitution. Evelio Goren replaced Johnnie Osbourn. Mayo's Des Gill was substituted for Guido Pagomari. Emaηski F.C Reborη made a substitution. Gaz Abbott replaced Valerius Ginsberg. Steve Oliver hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Emaηski F.C Reborη's Michael Boy was substituted for Deng Chang Xu. Glyn Smith got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nathanial Pitts. After some careless play in the Emaηski F.C Reborη defense, Des Gill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Hurko. The Emaηski F.C Reborη fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Hurko should have stopped the shot.
