The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thomas Woodyat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Luizinho Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dom Maxwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Dubiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Juventus Telford's Kevin Hellkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dom Maxwell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Kevin Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Konstanty Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cälal Elxanov in the 24th minute of play forced Birstall Bombers's goalkeeper Dom Maxwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Telford's zone, Damian Stride stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Paranaense came out of the goal and Damian Stride tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32nd play minutes Kevin Hellkvist shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Dom Maxwell and just under the crossbar into goal. Dom Maxwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Damian Stride hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Cälal Elxanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dom Maxwell. Birstall Bombers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cälal Elxanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dom Maxwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cälal Elxanov in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juventus Telford's Cälal Elxanov got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Hellkvist was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Birstall Bombers getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Brynn Frost hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Hellkvist got free with Dom Maxwell in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Birstall Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Dubiel came free, but Dom Maxwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dom Maxwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Dubiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dom Maxwell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstanty Dubiel ran back to his position shaking his head. José Liamthaisong took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dom Maxwell. Dom Maxwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Juventus Telford's Kevin Hellkvist in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Birstall Bombers's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Stride during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, José Liamthaisong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dom Maxwell. José Liamthaisong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. A hard shot 80 in the game by Kevin Hellkvist from a close distance when the talented Dom Maxwell managed to make a qualified save. Birstall Bombers's players were relieved. In the 82nd minute, Kevin Hellkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dom Maxwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 85 minutes in the game, José Liamthaisong fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dom Maxwell having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, one of Birstall Bombers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute, José Liamthaisong reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dom Maxwell. The goal made the score 0-9. In the 91st minute, Cälal Elxanov made a precise shot to the right of Dom Maxwell. Birstall Bombers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Kevin Hellkvist in the 99thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dom Maxwell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juventus Telford eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
