Clive Holloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanyo Kobakov's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4thth minute of the game Stanyo Kobakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferruccio Chelodi made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stanyo Kobakov immediately put the ball in play. Andrew Harrison got a throw-in 7 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baykal Alkan. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Kobakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanyo Kobakov in the 12th minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Stanyo Kobakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykal Alkan in the 21st minute of play. Jon Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykal Alkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanyo Kobakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Stanyo Kobakov made a precise shot to the right of Clive Holloway. Staffy Terrier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Stanyo Kobakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clive Holloway was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Staffy Terrier FC's Nikos Samaris got a free kick in the 39th minute. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Baykal Alkan made the kick off in the second half. Andrew Harrison charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrew Harrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Staffy Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Harrison. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanyo Kobakov in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Gonzalo Astrada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clive Holloway quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jon Connell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykal Alkan in the 70th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Valiant F.C's Stanyo Kobakov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Holloway made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Valiant F.C's Lucrețiu Ciocâlteu was substituted for Pedro Henry. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Stanyo Kobakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valiant F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanyo Kobakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Holloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valiant F.C's attentive Lazaro Cabo managed to snatch the ball when Rogelio Espiridion made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanyo Kobakov in the 86th minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Valiant F.C got a corner. Staffy Terrier FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonzalo Astrada ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Stanyo Kobakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway got control of the ball when Stanyo Kobakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Valiant F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valiant F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
