Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Moura in the 9th minute of play forced Hilsea's goalkeeper John England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Moura in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John England saved Hilsea from getting behind. In the 11th minute Caco Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John England saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Seth Sharples hit a great ball. Hilsea's John England played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Moura in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, The Globo Red's Caco Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John England made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, The Globo Red's Thomas Case seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas Case the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Globo Red protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas Case had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of The Globo Red:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hilsea:s goal. Ramon Wright had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Kenny Dobson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute Seth Sharples shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marty Hurren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John England didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Barros went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. John England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Hurren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hilsea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Globo Red were winning 0-2.

Ramiro Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marty Hurren managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Globo Red's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Hurren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John England breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marty Hurren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes in the game Damien Hubbard did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rory Downham. Ramiro Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 76 minutes, Marty Hurren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Globo Red's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marty Hurren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Hilsea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramiro Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Hilsea fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Globo Red were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
