Leicester Foxes Academy's Hannes Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Den Newland in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Leicester Foxes Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Grant Aldridge who took care of the corner kick. Connor Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Gol in the 26th minute of the match. Alan Young hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Alan Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Wright having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Grant Aldridge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barr Point and the Leicester Foxes Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Grant Aldridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Den Newland to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Grant Aldridge hit a great ball. Niles Andrews was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Oscar Drake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barr Point's Connor Wright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Connor Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Drake to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Bowler to maneuver through the defense. Owen Welsh hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Drake came free, but Connor Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor Wright made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Felipe Gol sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Connor Wright managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Leicester Foxes Academy's Oscar Drake fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The attack was good, but when Oscar Drake in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Grant Aldridge hit a great ball. Connor Wright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Drake's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Hannes Sandwall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of CJ Street's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Barr Point's Connor Wright got control of the ball when Oscar Drake tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leicester Foxes Academy's Hannes Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Street in the 86th minute of play. Sebastian Björkkvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Martin Ericsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Leicester Foxes Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
