Hannes Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Greenwood in the 9th minute of play. Ron Tomkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Oscar Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Gol. With a little luck, Leicester Foxes Academy's Hannes Sandwall got control of the ball when Erwin Schrödinger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erwin Schrödinger succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 33rd playminute. Archie Greenwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hannes Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Leicester Foxes Academy's corner Niles Andrews fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ron Tomkin quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Drake to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Felipe Gol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ron Tomkin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ron Tomkin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Endel Uudevald sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Archie Greenwood in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Sandwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Archie Greenwood in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Sandwall saved Leicester Foxes Academy from getting behind. In the 94th minute Archie Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute Baby Snakes were awarded a corner. Harvey Courtney went to the cornerflag to take it. The Baby Snakes support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
