The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Thymios Sanidomenos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAOK FC and the GREEN LIONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Thymios Sanidomenos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merexildo Raimundo had several of the PAOK FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Wladyslaw Brudzisz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 7th play minutes Merexildo Raimundo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Wladyslaw Brudzisz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 9 played minutes PAOK FC got a freekick which was hit by Vrasidas Kozirakis. Merexildo Raimundo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Wladyslaw Brudzisz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Merexildo Raimundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Wladyslaw Brudzisz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz got control of the ball when Jorge Peredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wladyslaw Brudzisz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Wladyslaw Brudzisz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merexildo Raimundo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Merexildo Raimundo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wladyslaw Brudzisz. Wladyslaw Brudzisz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 37th minute of the match GREEN LIONS got a corner. PAOK FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Fonda ran over to the corner to take the kick. GREEN LIONS's Igor Fortun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Merexildo Raimundo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Wladyslaw Brudzisz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Merexildo Raimundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GREEN LIONS's Ignacio Fonda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Lemonis in the 48th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Alekos Papaggelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermis Zacharatos made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Theofilos Vrochopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAOK FC and the GREEN LIONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 67thth minute of the game Merexildo Raimundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Wladyslaw Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merexildo Raimundo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladyslaw Brudzisz saved PAOK FC from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Lambis Talitsikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wladyslaw Brudzisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikitas Galanos went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute GREEN LIONS were awarded a corner. Ignacio Fonda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GREEN LIONS's Ignacio Fonda to fire away a dangerous shot which Wladyslaw Brudzisz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jorge Peredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Merexildo Raimundo made a precise shot to the right of Wladyslaw Brudzisz. PAOK FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After having played for 92 minutes, Nikitas Galanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEN LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikitas Galanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Merexildo Raimundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAOK FC's goalie prevented a goal. GREEN LIONS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
