Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Petka in the 8th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Aleksander Petka notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov. Fernando Prassov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Vieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Saruhan Vuralhan made a huge save. Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Seremetidis in the 15th minute of play. Fernando Prassov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Michelangelo Merganiotis scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Prassov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alkis Semertzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Kountouratzis came free, but Fernando Prassov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 27th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Stavros Tsebelis. AFC Ajax's Saruhan Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Ajax from getting a goal against them. Fernando Prassov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saruhan Vuralhan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri. But to his dismay, Christian Vieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 46 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Michelangelo Merganiotis came free, but Fernando Prassov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Green Hell F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC Ajax were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Christian Vieri made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Prassov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markos Seremetidis in the 51st minute. Saruhan Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 53rd minute of play. Markos Seremetidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Fernando Prassov made a huge save. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Aureo Morera replaced Li Kuan Hong. In the 61st minute, Alexandros Sardanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Prassov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Sardanis in the 63rd minute of play. Saruhan Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vieri in the 77th minute of the match. If Alexandros Sardanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Prassov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Sardanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Christian Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Saruhan Vuralhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Christian Vieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saruhan Vuralhan was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The AFC Ajax supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Ajax would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
