The FC Zhelezna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 played minutes OSTROVA got a freekick which was hit by Ventzislav Chavorski. Lulcho Pirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gartzen in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by OSTROVA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tim Vereeken was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Zhelezna's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Zhelezna's Tim Vereeken to fire away a dangerous shot which Lulcho Pirov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marin Gradev got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Iliyan Imov. The supporters of FC Zhelezna booed when OSTROVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ventzislav Chavorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iliyan Imov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Artur Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, FC Zhelezna's Tomas Gartzen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lulcho Pirov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tomas Gartzen took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lulcho Pirov. Lulcho Pirov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, OSTROVA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Gartzen came free, but Lulcho Pirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lulcho Pirov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glauco Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Gartzen scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lulcho Pirov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's Tomas Gartzen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lulcho Pirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lulcho Pirov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Gartzen went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute of the match FC Zhelezna got a corner. OSTROVA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tim Vereeken ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Zhelezna's Radko Tetikov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lulcho Pirov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 47thth minute of the game Tomas Gartzen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OSTROVA's Lulcho Pirov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Petrishki was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Zhelezna got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Soares. Tomas Gartzen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lulcho Pirov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Tomas Gartzen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OSTROVA's Lulcho Pirov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind OSTROVA's goalkeeper Lulcho Pirov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Tomas Gartzen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lulcho Pirov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Niko Kranjčar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Garaile in the 66th minute of play forced OSTROVA's goalkeeper Lulcho Pirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Karemov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lulcho Pirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Kranjčar in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's Gilberto Garaile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lulcho Pirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Niko Kranjčar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zhelezna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niko Kranjčar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lulcho Pirov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Garaile's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Zhelezna's Gilberto Garaile slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lulcho Pirov. That made the score 0-7 after 87 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, OSTROVA's goalkeeper Lulcho Pirov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Garaile. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Zhelezna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
