Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paun Baynov in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bourgas's zone, Omurtag Púrvulov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Tuliyski came out of the goal and Omurtag Púrvulov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Búlgarov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Levent Tuliyski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Paun Baynov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levent Tuliyski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Búlgarov's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Stanislav Búlgarov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Levent Tuliyski. In the 24th minute Delyan Partinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Tuliyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omurtag Púrvulov got free with Levent Tuliyski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes of play, Blue avalanche's Stanislav Búlgarov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levent Tuliyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ikonom Kopchev hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Galin Popovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavey Dochevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omurtag Púrvulov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Levent Tuliyski made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galin Popovski to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Blue avalanche's Stanislav Búlgarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levent Tuliyski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 55 minutes, Velimir Petzanov mouthed his way into the referee's book.
