Roland Olivier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Goethe having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Hamburg defense, Jamal Roye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alban Bolesta. The FC Hamburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alban Bolesta should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Werner Eigenfeld reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prospero Goethe. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 17th minute Lennard Rossmanith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alban Bolesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Vicente Echterhoff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alban Bolesta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 20 minutes into the match, FC Hamburg's Werner Eigenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Goethe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Hamburg's Finn Bartels got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland Olivier kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennard Rossmanith in the 41st minute of play. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Olivier, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamal Roye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Friesenwerdermoor's Jamal Roye in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 56th match minute, Friesenwerdermoor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Flöge to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Jamal Roye got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lennard Rossmanith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alban Bolesta made a huge save. A hard shot 63 in the game by Jamal Roye from a close distance when the talented Alban Bolesta managed to make a qualified save. FC Hamburg's players were relieved. If Finn Bartels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Olivier came free, but Prospero Goethe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Gerster in the 72nd minute of play. Hermann Luscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alban Bolesta having to interfere. FC Hamburg's Alban Bolesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekin Energin in the 81st minute of play. Alban Bolesta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermann Luscher showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 82 minute of play. Alban Bolesta made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Hermann Luscher sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Olivier in the 85th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alban Bolesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Luscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Roland Olivier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Prospero Goethe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Pekin Energin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Friesenwerdermoor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekin Energin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Hamburg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Friesenwerdermoor for a fine match.
