With his leg João Massa managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when FC BaLiSt's Rafael Maria Píriz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Grigore Zberea got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 8-0. 69 minutes into the match. Tudor Greavu struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. João Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The tension between the UFC STEAUA and the FC BaLiSt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Rafet Faydalı. If Tudor Greavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Caetano Messias replaced Tudor Greavu. In the 80th minute Rafael Maria Píriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Maria Píriz went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. FC BaLiSt's Dragoş Antoniu was substituted for Aron Olteanu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Maria Píriz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UFC STEAUA's João Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messias in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Messias in the 90th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper João Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Maria Píriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Messias scored 11-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC BaLiSt walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
