An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Pombal in the 20th minute of play forced Fan PC Servicii's goalkeeper Iacob Răduleț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Pombal took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iacob Răduleț. Iacob Răduleț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Mălaimare in the 30th minute of play forced MasterBets's goalkeeper Gigel Zăvoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vadim Tudor fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fan PC Servicii's protests and gave Vadim Tudor a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Fan PC Servicii got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Tudor. After 36 minutes of play, MasterBets's Albino Cugat made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Răduleț was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Luisão Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Răduleț was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Luisão Pombal made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Fan PC Servicii's Iacob Răduleț tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fan PC Servicii made a substitution. Albert Capșuneanu replaced Leontin Milcu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. Iacob Răduleț made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Pombal got free with Iacob Răduleț in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was a well-played corner which Gică Hagi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 60 minutes into the match, Luisão Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Răduleț. Fan PC Servicii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Iacob Răduleț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Fan PC Servicii booed when MasterBets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Grigore Petrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Zăvoiu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 85th minute Gabe Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Răduleț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fan PC Servicii's Iacob Răduleț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabe Joinvilense in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Aurel Marioara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Zăvoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Răduleț having to interfere. Iacob Răduleț was a little too slow when Gică Hagi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-8. Iacob Răduleț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. MasterBets's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
