Bavo Van Eeckhout didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominick Colebrants went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Emanuel Vanooteghem might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurgen Goris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Vanooteghem ran back to his position shaking his head. Jurgen Goris made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Emanuel Vanooteghem sent off a good shot on target. Bernard Pacolet kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Sinsin's goal looked a bit too open when Dominick Colebrants came free, but Bavo Van Eeckhout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurgen Goris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vanooteghem's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Emanuel Vanooteghem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Vanooteghem to strike the kick off in the second half.
