Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murray Hägert started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Octaaf Van der Meiren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryszard Dropinski charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryszard Dropinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryszard Dropinski made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren. Sean Mallecotss short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Reinard Van Ghele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eddy Stoorms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atak Zor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Ryszard Dropinski got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp F.C.'s zone, Sean Mallecots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinard Van Ghele came out of the goal and Sean Mallecots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sean Mallecots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinard Van Ghele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Ryszard Dropinski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ruud Schautens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinard Van Ghele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Reinard Van Ghele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Ryszard Dropinski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Reinard Van Ghele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 35th minute of play. Eddy Stoorms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atak Zor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when Royal Antwerp F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Huijghens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinard Van Ghele came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Invictus FC's Ron Aelgoet. But to his dismay, Ron Aelgoet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The wind increased when Sean Mallecots made the kick off in the second half. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atak Zor in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Octaaf Van der Meiren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invictus FC and the Royal Antwerp F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinard Van Ghele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Zor in the 67th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octaaf Van der Meiren hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Roel de Pelsmaker from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Eddy Stoorms's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Reinard Van Ghele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Mallecots, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A hard shot by Roel de Pelsmaker from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Eddy Stoorms's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octaaf Van der Meiren in the 76th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinard Van Ghele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Invictus FC's Edgard Goossens was substituted for Octaaf Van der Meiren. In the 79th minute, Ryszard Dropinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinard Van Ghele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Invictus FC's Edgard Goossens quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacq De Weijngaerden, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Leon Imberechts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Atak Zor in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
