Karl-Åke Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Buhrmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Nilsson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mario Buhrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Lidström having to interfere. Jan-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Nordlander hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Vännäsby BF's Kim Kallstrøm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 31 played minutes Vännäsby BF got a freekick which was hit by Mario Buhrmann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Ongile in the 32nd minute of play forced Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Per Åström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Erik Spetz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Tage Björkdahl threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vännäsby BF's Lennart Albom quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Björkdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Åke Lidström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Buhrmann in the 56th minute of the match. Mario Buhrmann hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mario Buhrmann kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Kim Kallstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Ongile got free with Jan-Erik Spetz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blomstermåla BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Karl-Åke Lidström went to the wrong direction when Mosab Al Mansor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Arnulfo Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Kallstrøm in the 78th minute of play forced Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blomstermåla BK's Karl-Åke Lidström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Buhrmann in the 85th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Tim Nordstedt notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Vännäsby BF's Jan-Erik Spetz. Jan-Erik Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blomstermåla BK's Jörn Erserman was substituted for Arnulfo Ongile. Mario Buhrmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blomstermåla BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
