Måns Sigfridsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Staffan Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Nyberg in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Bern got free with Måns Sigfridsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17thth minute of the game Lukas Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G A I S's Staffan Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Staffan Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Washington Andrade hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Bern in the 28th minute of play forced Skollholmen FC's goalkeeper Måns Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Oscar Beneth threw the ball into play from the sideline. G A I S's John Jernberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matthias Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Matthias Bern left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Staffan Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Måns Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Måns Sigfridsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cléber Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Nyberg to make the kick off. G A I S's John Jernberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Oscar Beneth, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Inge Hake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Måns Sigfridsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Bern's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Skollholmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Bern came free, but Måns Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of G A I S booed when Skollholmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Marcu Dobrin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G A I S's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skollholmen FC the free kick. A collision led to G A I S getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcu Dobrin hit a great ball. G A I S's Staffan Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save G A I S from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Matthias Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Bern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skollholmen FC's Måns Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Bern in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skollholmen FC's goalkeeper Måns Sigfridsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. G A I S's Staffan Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save G A I S from getting a goal against them. Marcu Dobrin scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Måns Sigfridsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Måns Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Bern in the 90th minute of the match. Lukas Johnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Staffan Eckegren made a huge save.
