After 4 played minutes Broakulla got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Luty. With an all-out effort, Northland Vikings's Jon Markusson threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gao Peng Ran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th match minute, Broakulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Luty to maneuver through the defense. If Gao Peng Ran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Broakulla's Jon Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Broakulla from getting a goal against them. Norbert Kasprzykowski's late challenge caught a Northland Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Kasprzykowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when Broakulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Kasprzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ture Waller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jon Markusson made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Broakulla's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Peng Ran came free, but Jon Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Markusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Peng Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 33rd minute of the match. Denver Phoenix hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jon Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Broakulla's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Peng Ran came free, but Jon Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Northland Vikings's Mateo Bizen was substituted for Bebur Topnikov. Jon Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 54th minute of play. Gao Peng Ran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Gao Peng Ran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northland Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gao Peng Ran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jon Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Broakulla's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Peng Ran came free, but Jon Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Zdzislaw Zgonina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Philip Brun replaced Jorge Azenha. The Northland Vikings fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gao Peng Ran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Northland Vikings got a corner. Broakulla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Čolak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andreas Falk was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
