João Augusto Fantini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oakcroft Thrashers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andriy Shevchenko was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Shifen III's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Andriy Shevchenko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christoffer Modig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ian Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Ian Wright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ákos Vincze made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Shifen III's Freddy Dimo. Georg Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Wright in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Wright in the 40th minute of play forced FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Shifen III's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludwig Ståhlman was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakcroft Thrashers's players had a chance to rest. Oakcroft Thrashers's Hugo Hellgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Allan Blom in the 46 minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Ian Wright notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm. Georg Godholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Shifen III's attentive Andriy Shevchenko managed to snatch the ball when Leo Nykvist made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Evgeniy Babich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oakcroft Thrashers's attentive Leo Nykvist managed to snatch the ball when Melker Jokiranta made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. With a little luck, FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm got control of the ball when Ian Wright tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Evgeniy Babich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Wright in the 87th minute of play forced FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evgeniy Babich struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Christoffer Modig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Shifen III. Ian Wrights short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Georg Godholm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Nykvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeniy Babich in the 98th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
