Thor Nordin made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Jean-Pierre Barda sent off a good shot on target. 4 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Skröder came free, but Pontus Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thor Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Murry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Full Fart Framåt booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Skröder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Drake hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Derick Murry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Pierre Barda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derick Murry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thor Nordin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Derick Murry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thor Nordin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Full Fart Framåt's Stefan Lidberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stefan Lidberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Full Fart Framåt protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stefan Lidberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Full Fart Framåt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gärsnäs BF:s goal. Pontus Sellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Nyqvist's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jean-Pierre Barda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Nordin having to interfere. Jean-Pierre Barda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Thor Nordin made a huge save. Gärsnäs BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Jean-Pierre Barda scored to the left of an out of position Thor Nordin, making the score, 4-0. Full Fart Framåt's Jean-Pierre Barda got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Nyqvist made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Pierre Barda in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Nordin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Benedicto Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Full Fart Framåt's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Tadzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Nordin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Svanberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Thor Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jean-Pierre Barda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Full Fart Framåt's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Pierre Barda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Nordin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kim Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Bo Drake fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gärsnäs BF's protests and gave Bo Drake a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pierre Barda in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Nordin saved Gärsnäs BF from getting behind. After 80 minutes of play Gärsnäs BF's Bo Drake was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 81st match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Drake to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Jean-Pierre Barda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Nordin came out of the goal and Jean-Pierre Barda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Jean-Pierre Barda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Jean-Pierre Barda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gärsnäs BF's Thor Nordin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Pierre Barda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pierre Barda in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Nordin saved Gärsnäs BF from getting behind. There was no doubt that Full Fart Framåt were the better team. Full Fart Framåt's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
