Franco Di Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kvarnström in the 4th minute of play. Franco Di Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Nordström in the 5th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Daniel Kvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergandy's Franco Di Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bergandy's Franco Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Nordström in the 15th minute of play. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Kvarnström's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Bergandy's Franco Di Massa got control of the ball when Daniel Kvarnström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Infidels F.C's Daniel Kvarnström in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergandy's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Bergandy's Franco Di Massa got control of the ball when Norberto de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Kvarnströms short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Franco Di Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 36 played minutes Bergandy got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Ferm. Wilhelm Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando das Neves in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Daniel Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goalkeeper Franco Di Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Kvarnström.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Kvarnström to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Infidels F.C got a corner. Bergandy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Sesuldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Infidels F.C's corner Venancio Sesuldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Di Massa quite easily take care of the ball. Franco Di Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes, Yngve Ferm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergandy and the Infidels F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yngve Ferm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Franco Di Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Kvarnström's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Ferm in the 59th minute of play forced Infidels F.C's goalkeeper Wilhelm Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Di Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Bure made a huge save. In the 67th minute Daniel Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bo Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infidels F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Di Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bergandy's Daniel Koch was substituted for Thor Ståhlberg. Bergandy made a substitution. Ingvar Molander replaced Fernando das Neves. Franco Di Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Bergandy defense, Daniel Kvarnström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Di Massa. The Bergandy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Di Massa should have stopped the shot. Wilhelm Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Molander in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Daniel Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
