The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Lindsten got free with Mikael Rudqvist in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Lindsten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mikael Rudqvist, 2-0. 11 minutes into the game, Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Rudqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Lars-Erik Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Lars-Erik Lindsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Rudqvist having to make a save. Alf Landin got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stig Hansson. Harald Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Ryberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. HEDONISM U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harald Boberg in the 39th minute. HEDONISM U18's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Henry Lund scored to the left of an out of position Mikael Rudqvist, making the score, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell August Ryberg to make the kick off. Lars-Erik Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Rudqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars-Erik Lindsten ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, HEDONISM U18's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Lindsten came free, but Mikael Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Lars-Erik Lindsten sped through HEDONISM U18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikael Rudqvist. If Lars-Erik Lindsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Lars-Erik Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pil SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. HEDONISM U18's Mikael Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 74th minute of play. Pil SK's Torbjörn Rosendal was substituted for Lars-Erik Lindsten. Alf Landin got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stig Hansson. If Torbjörn Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Torbjörn Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Rudqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pil SK's Torbjörn Rosendal in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
