Nils Busk started the match with the kick off. Yngve Lägdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Busk in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Rudolf Nordstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yngve Lägdin. Kullavik FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Nordstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yngve Lägdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Unesson in the 16th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Kullavik FF got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Allbom. Sven-Edvin Unesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Lägdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Unesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Kullavik FF's Yngve Lägdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Unesson in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Sven-Edvin Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulham Broadway FC's Sven-Edvin Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Fulham Broadway FC's Rudolf Nordstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Lägdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yngve Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Ahlstedt in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kullavik FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sixten Norberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Fulham Broadway FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Fulham Broadway FC's corner Göran Abrahamsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yngve Lägdin quite easily take care of the ball. Lukas Käckers short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Börje Blomqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Sven-Edvin Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukas Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Blomqvist having to interfere. In the 47th minute Sven-Edvin Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Lägdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rudolf Nordstedt made the kick off in the second half. Börje Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Sven-Edvin Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Lägdin having to make a save. Yngve Lägdin made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sven-Edvin Unesson sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Matthias Ahlfors notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist. Börje Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yngve Lägdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 59th minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Unesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Lägdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Unesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Yngve Lägdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Unesson's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Fulham Broadway FC were awarded a corner. Sixten Norberg went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Sven-Edvin Unesson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 68th match minute, Kullavik FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Allbom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ahlfors in the 73rd minute of play forced Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fulham Broadway FC's Rudolf Nordstedt in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sven-Edvin Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Lägdin having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Kullavik FF's goalkeeper Yngve Lägdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Unesson. Sven-Edvin Unesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Lägdin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Unesson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Sven-Edvin Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Lägdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulham Broadway FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
