The supporters of Arktis BoIS booed when Bangkok FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İlmi Akıncıbey in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Örtendahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Söderman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Einar Forsberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Oscar Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 95th minute, Sven-Åke Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Arktis BoIS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bangkok FC throughout the match.
