Sten Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42ndth minute of the game Sina Puro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Reds's Sten Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Best during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sina Puro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sina Puro in the 52nd minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Sten Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sina Puro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Aron Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Vogel made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fred Isaksson immediately put the ball in play. In the 89th minute, Zenon Drzewucki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Andreasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Sten Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Drzewucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Drzewucki in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Andreasson saved The Reds from getting behind.
