In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olov Aleberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Urruchua was the one to do the kick off. Andy Beckman had several of the Trojanskahästen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Kjell Sandström as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Hellström during the 84th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bullen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
