The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Billock during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Billock. Mats Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 3rd minute of play. Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Woopbongo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Grabowicz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Börna Bulldogs's corner Pawel Grabowicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mats Holmgren quite easily take care of the ball. Torgny Landin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Holmgren. Mats Holmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kurt Klemensson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Landin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Woopbongo's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Mats Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Woopbongo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Grabowicz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Börna Bulldogs's Torgny Landin to fire away a dangerous shot which Mats Holmgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Börna Bulldogs fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Börna Bulldogs's Torgny Landin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Börna Bulldogs's Vilgot Bålström was substituted for Ragnar Linquist. 45 minutes into the game, Börna Bulldogs's Torgny Landin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Holmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Torgny Landin made the kick off in the second half. Mats Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Palm in the 67th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Börna Bulldogs's Matias Svahn was substituted for 肖真坚. After 74 minutes Woopbongo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Grabowicz who took care of the corner kick. Torgny Landin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The throw-in from Rob Lute in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Woopbongo's Hubert Billock. Mats Holmgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Svahn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Mats Holmgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Woopbongo defense, Matias Svahn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Holmgren. The Woopbongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Holmgren should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Landin in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Landin got free with Mats Holmgren in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Woopbongo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Börna Bulldogs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
