Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olly Morgan kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Olly Morgan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Nyman was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brothers of Mercy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krish Melin was slow to take the kick. During this time IFK Kik's players had a chance to rest. In the 6th minute, Håkan Lindgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Siemers came free, but Markus Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battal Gazi Acabay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 8th minute. Markus Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Albohm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Gazi Acabay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Håkan Lindgren took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Battal Gazi Acabay. Battal Gazi Acabay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 45th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Hedberg to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 52nd minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Acabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Kik's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krish Melin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Battal Gazi Acabay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 57th minute of the match. If Per-Oskar Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IFK Kik's Battal Gazi Acabay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Håkan Lindgren notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of IFK Kik's Battal Gazi Acabay. Battal Gazi Acabay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Dalberg to maneuver through the defense. Battal Gazi Acabay came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren. But to his dismay, Håkan Lindgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Gabriel Saliba replaced Roger Strömberg. In the 74th minute, Håkan Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Brothers of Mercy's Christer Valler was substituted for Håkan Lindgren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Valler in the 79th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Acabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Eskil Danielsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Battal Gazi Acabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Valler in the 81st minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Valler came free, but Battal Gazi Acabay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Christer Valler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brothers of Mercy's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Valler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Gazi Acabay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brothers of Mercy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
