An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Odion Tao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. 太史慈 in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Melberg got free with Odion Tao in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by A.J. 太史慈. Urban Åkerberg hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Meck came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. 太史慈 in the 19th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jörgen Byström fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melchester Rovers's protests and gave Jörgen Byström a yellow card for diving instead. Jörgen Byström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Ekenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. 太史慈 in the 26th minute of play. Melchester Rovers's Ian Ekenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odion Tao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Mattias Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's Roger Sandwall broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sten Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Di Röe's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Melberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odion Tao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Sten Melberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao. Odion Tao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Odion Tao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Melberg in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, A.J. 太史慈 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but George Kristiansson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Melchester Rovers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Sandwall in the 65th minute. Sten Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Odion Tao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, A.J. 太史慈 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melchester Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but A.J. 太史慈 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Kristiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Odion Tao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Kristiansson having to interfere. After some careless play in the Di Röe defense, Ian Ekenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Kristiansson. The Di Röe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Kristiansson should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hannes Odén hit a great ball. Sten Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odion Tao having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
