In the 19th minute Carl Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gott&blandat's Rémy Binder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Brogren in the 20th minute of play. Charlie Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match, Harry Boumans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rémy Binder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
