Keefe Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixten Sjö's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Arvid Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Ronny Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Sixten Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonsereds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Sixten Sjö made a precise shot to the right of Keefe Paulsen. BK Forward's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 32nd minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keefe Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Forward's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronny Nilsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Jonsereds IF's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Pacella in the 35th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BK Forward's Keefe Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Sjö in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixten Sjö in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Qvarnström. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvid Qvarnström during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Forward booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Lövkvist made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Åke Käller immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixten Sjö in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keefe Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Garcia came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by BK Forward's Korey Friedman. But to his dismay, Korey Friedman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ulf Lövkvist got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Åke Käller. Korey Friedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Qvarnström hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Although BK Forward had been in control for most of the match, Jonsereds IF still came away with the win.
