When Bebhinn Martyn fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Athy's protests and gave Bebhinn Martyn a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Athy's Bebhinn Martyn got a free kick in the 10th minute. Colm McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fang Bin Tian in the 14th minute of the match. Colm McMichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fang Bin Tian went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Swansea University F.C's Flavius Ilica was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Athy's Colm McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Jaume in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mawrth Hamill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea University F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mawrth Hamill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colm McMichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kennet Engström during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Athy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Engström to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Swansea University F.C's Colm McMichel threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavius Ilica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Athy's Colm McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mawrth Hamill in the 45th minute of play. Ahmet Necdet Razi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 苏彬铮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Athy were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Swansea University F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sedat Peker took the corner.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fang Bin Tian to make the kick off. Colm McMichel came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Swansea University F.C's Ding 曹操. But to his dismay, Ding 曹操 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Colm McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Ilica in the 59th minute of the match. Trent Larkin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Swansea University F.C's Mawrth Hamill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colm McMichel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Colm McMichel came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Swansea University F.C's Fang Bin Tian. But to his dismay, Fang Bin Tian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fang Bin Tian in the 74th minute of play forced Athy's goalkeeper Colm McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 苏彬铮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Fang Bin Tian sped through Athy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Colm McMichel. Ahmet Necdet Razi made an important save on a dangerous shot by 苏彬铮 in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Swansea University F.C's Fang Bin Tian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colm McMichel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. In the 87th minute, Ding 曹操 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colm McMichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ding 曹操 in the 90th minute of play forced Athy's goalkeeper Colm McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colm McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Ilica in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Swansea University F.C booed when Athy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beale Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Swansea University F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
