Sajeev Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Lisandri in the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Gala's M. Ramdhan Patirajawane made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sajeev Lam was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Farhan Lee came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Albirex Niigata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farhan Lee couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Johan Lisandri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sajeev Lam was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Lisandri got free with Sajeev Lam in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Faris Laycock hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Albirex Niigata FC's zone, Johan Lisandri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sajeev Lam came out of the goal and Johan Lisandri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Sajeev Lam managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Gala's Johan Lisandri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sajeev Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Lisandri in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Lisandri in the 32nd minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Sajeev Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Johan Lisandri made a precise shot to the right of Sajeev Lam. Albirex Niigata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Sajeev Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Lisandri in the 38th minute of the match. Albirex Niigata FC's Sajeev Lam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Albirex Niigata FC from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the game, Sven Gauweiler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albirex Niigata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gala the free kick. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Johan Lisandri sped through Albirex Niigata FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sajeev Lam. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Farhan Lee to strike the kick off in the second half. The Gala fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Gala's Johan Lisandri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 54 minutes, Gilang Mustaqim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gala and the Albirex Niigata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Gala got a freekick which was hit by Gilang Mustaqim. Sajeev Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Ramdhan Patirajawane in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Johan Lisandri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajeev Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Johan Lisandri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sajeev Lam. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Lisandri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Lisandri in the 65th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Sajeev Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, Yandi Sarbini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sajeev Lam. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sajeev Lam should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Johan Lisandri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Sajeev Lam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faris Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Johan Lisandri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajeev Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Johan Lisandri made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Albirex Niigata FC's Sajeev Lam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guguh Saepuloh came free, but Sajeev Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sajeev Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Lisandri in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, M. Ramdhan Patirajawane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Sajeev Lam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from M. Ramdhan Patirajawane went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Faris Laycock hit a great ball. Albirex Niigata FC's Sajeev Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Lisandri in the 96th minute of play. Guguh Saepuloh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Gala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
