The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saga TF were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Ballkam Sportsklubb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Truls Landsem took the corner. The corner led Saga TF's Roch Komornicki to a score. 1-0 in the 4th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Truls Landsem came free, but Igor Haikin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Haikin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roch Komornicki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Komornicki came free, but Igor Haikin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by De-la-Cruz Fantasia in the 34th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Haikin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Nannskog in the 36th minute. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qin Ke Kun in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Peter Lindberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Haikin, 3-0. De-la-Cruz Fantasia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Forseth having to interfere. Truls Landsem scored 4-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Haikin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Trym Johnsrud made the kick off in the second half. Horaţiu Dudău hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Joachim Forseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trym Johnsrud in the 52nd minute. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. Qin Ke Kun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joachim Forseth firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Johnstad in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Christoffer Aarset was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballkam Sportsklubb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saga TF the free kick. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Daniel Nannskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Haikin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Truls Landsem in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Trym Johnsrud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saga TF's Joachim Forseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qin Ke Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballkam Sportsklubb's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
