Congo Bongo's Petre Traian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Ursino in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Oidor notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Donadeu AFC's Artturi Kaven. Artturi Kaven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donadeu AFC's Artturi Kaven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Donadeu AFC defense, Damaso Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artturi Kaven. The Donadeu AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artturi Kaven should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Ursino was the one to do the kick off. Mihăiţă Stanomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Traian having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Anastasio Ursino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Traian was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Stanomir in the 57th minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Petre Traian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Donadeu AFC's Mihăiţă Stanomir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Traian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 61 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Oidor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artturi Kaven, 4-3. Damaso Sancho scored 4-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artturi Kaven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Ursino came free, but Petre Traian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Sancho got free with Artturi Kaven in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artturi Kaven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Austin in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Sergio Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artturi Kaven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Donadeu AFC's Artturi Kaven got control of the ball when Damaso Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artturi Kaven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Austin in the 81st minute of the match. The Donadeu AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Congo Bongo's performance. The match ended with a win for Congo Bongo.
