Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo Inocente got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Pirro in the 6th minute of play forced Castelar F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnulfo Piarres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jimeno Fonso in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Club's Domingo Austin. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Inocente in the 12th minute of play. When Racing Club's Luciano Pirro in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castelar F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Miroslaw Jajecznica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Piarres having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Castelar F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but Arnulfo Piarres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Racing Club were awarded a corner. Albino Millano went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnulfo Piarres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Pirro went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Piarres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luciano Pirro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Piarres. Arnulfo Piarres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Miroslaw Jajecznica's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnulfo Piarres firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Castelar F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Romeo Abar hit a great ball. Luciano Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Jimeno Fonso with Romeo Abar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Arnulfo Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castelar F.C.'s Jimeno Fonso got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Luciano Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miroslaw Jajecznica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arnulfo Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Club's Samuel Nevada was substituted for Albino Millano. Arnulfo Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Epifanio Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Castelar F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Nevada ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ramiro Lano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnulfo Piarres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 78 minutes into the match, Cristo Faron notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres. Arnulfo Piarres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute Ramiro Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Inocente in the 85th minute of play. Arnulfo Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Faron in the 88th minute of play. 7-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Epifanio Txomin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 97th minute Cristo Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
