The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Jeremias Frisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Cecilio Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Erasto. John Ryberg in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cecilio Lastur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peker Durusoy during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Talleres's Cecilio Lastur got control of the ball when Jeremias Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cecilio Lastur made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ubaldo Afonso sent off a good shot on target. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Tunberg in the 15th minute of play. Ubaldo Afonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Cecilio Lastur made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Tab to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 19 in the game by John Ryberg from a close distance when the talented Cecilio Lastur managed to make a qualified save. Talleres's players were relieved. Talleres's Cecilio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Frisco in the 27th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Cecilio Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute, Gunnar Hake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 40th minute Jeremias Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tab in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Ryberg to make the kick off. Cecilio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Ryberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talleres's Cecilio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Frisco in the 54th minute of play. Cecilio Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Afonso in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Afonso in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Lastur saved Talleres from getting behind. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy made a substitution. Gerardo Osorio replaced Jeremias Frisco. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Armando Jacinto was substituted for John Ryberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 63rd minute of play forced Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goalkeeper Erhan İren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tab in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 77th minute of play forced Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goalkeeper Erhan İren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talleres's Cecilio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 79th minute of play. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Lastur having to make a save. In the 85th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Lastur came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Alvaro Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Lastur having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Ubaldo Afonso got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talleres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Teɱperłey Cɨŧy.
