The corner went over the outstretched arms of Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalie and right to Delmiro Frutos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Distribuidora 25 de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Gustau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Michalski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Yupandú FC got a corner. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eloy Betadur ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Distribuidora 25 de mayo's Teodoro Calvino got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Jacinto Cordarrel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon. Francisc Ozon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisc Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Lohitzun in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Hipolito Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Lohitzun in the 35th minute of play. Rosendo Gustau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwidon Michalski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ovidio Jon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The long shot by Gaizka Aranguren in the 41st minute really tested Francisc Ozon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

If Gwidon Michalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwidon Michalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Rosendo Gustau made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Jacinto Cordarrel notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon. Francisc Ozon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Jon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Franco in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisc Ozon saved Yupandú FC from getting behind. Distribuidora 25 de mayo's Rosendo Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Michalski in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Franco came free, but Francisc Ozon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Gustau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cordarrel in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Denis Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisc Ozon. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisc Ozon should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Eloy Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Jacinto Cordarrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisc Ozon. Yupandú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Cordarrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Distribuidora 25 de mayo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
