Eriberto Erlantz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Celso Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Palermo in the 41st minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Erik Pihlblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Fix in the 43rd minute of play. Celso Fix might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Pihlblad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Fix ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Erik Pihlblad got control of the ball when Celso Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Fix made a kick off. Erik Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Fix in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felipe Bartoli hit a great ball. Celso Fix scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Pihlblad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute of the match Silvestre Favila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Erlantz skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute, Silvestre Favila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Erlantz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 68 minutes of play, Cura del Futbol's Celso Fix made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Pihlblad was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Fix came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paavali Snellman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alfredo Mon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Celso Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Pihlblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Paulino Clis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cura del Futbol's Alvaro Gai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfredo Mon in the 86 minute of the game. Celso Fix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Pihlblad having to make a save. In the 87th minute Celso Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Fix in the 89th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cura del Futbol players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
