After the first half La Maquina 9-12-18 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With his leg Inocencio Oinatz managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when La Maquina 9-12-18's Ahmet Baki Tecimer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albert Gaardahl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inocencio Oinatz came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Gaardahl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. La Maquina 9-12-18's Candido Ebardo was substituted for Albert Gaardahl.
