But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Karlo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Volvimos mejores's zone, Silverio Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Asteri came out of the goal and Silverio Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Engin Dönmez to strike the kick off in the second half. Hector Izel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valentin Licerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Amado Chumo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volvimos mejores's protests and gave Amado Chumo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Volvimos mejores's Amado Chumo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 93rd minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Volvimos mejores's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Jacob came free, but Samuel Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Franja Dorada F.C. had won after a very even match.
