Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jem Jajecznica took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniil Tanalidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Angelo Mogel in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Menchu FC's Roberto Carlo. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniil Tanalidis was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniil Tanalidis. Daniil Tanalidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Gabriele Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Daniil Tanalidis. Forest Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniil Tanalidis. Daniil Tanalidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Forest Green's Daniil Tanalidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jem Jajecznica came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Bergfelt made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 38thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Camilo Salvidor would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 40 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Lundström who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Forest Green's corner Peter Lundström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Salvidor quite easily take care of the ball. Daniil Tanalidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. Forest Green's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Roland ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Armando Roland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniil Tanalidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriele Batistuta to make the kick off. Daniil Tanalidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Menchu FC's attentive Roberto Carlo managed to snatch the ball when Angelo Mogel made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. With his leg Daniil Tanalidis managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 53 in the game by Gabriele Batistuta from a close distance when the talented Daniil Tanalidis managed to make a qualified save. Forest Green's players were relieved. Menchu FC made a substitution. Mayer Candelo replaced Uriel Gorri. Menchu FC made a substitution. Herbert Pilarski replaced Peter Söderqwist. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Ovidio Reynardo with Jem Jajecznica as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Daniil Tanalidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Forest Green's Daniil Tanalidis. Daniil Tanalidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Menchu FC's Daniil Tanalidis threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriele Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jem Jajecznica in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Herbert Pilarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniil Tanalidis. Forest Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Pilarski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 75th minute Jem Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Pilarski came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniil Tanalidis could save by the left post. In the 80th match minute, Forest Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Mogel to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Gabriele Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Daniil Tanalidis. Forest Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Gabriele Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Tanalidis having to interfere. When Gabriele Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriele Batistuta couldn't finish the play. Daniil Tanalidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 87th minute of play. Menchu FC made a substitution. Primitivo Rocendo replaced Silverio Sergi. Ovidio Reynardo made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jem Jajecznica. After a rather tough play, Forest Green's Ovidio Reynardo got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Gabriele Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriele Batistuta couldn't finish the play. The Forest Green supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menchu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menchu FC.
