Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Barro in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Rafaela FC got a corner. ARGIES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonides Tajo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leonides Tajo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARGIES's Best Castray did a great save. Bienvenido Largacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Best Castray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bienvenido Largacha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Best Castray having to interfere. A collision led to ARGIES getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dante Montes hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ARGIES fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when ARGIES's Feliciano Belmiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Best Castray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bienvenido Largacha's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Lluis in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bienvenido Largacha in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Best Castray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliciano Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Veronica having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bienvenido Largacha to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Belmiro in the 52nd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Bienvenido Largacha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARGIES's Best Castray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Ikatz. Leonides Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inocencio Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the match, Esteban Ikatz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Best Castray was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 63rd match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Kerckmans to maneuver through the defense. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Belmiro in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when ARGIES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARGIES made a substitution. Pierre-Antoine Naudon replaced Feliciano Belmiro. After a rather tough play, ARGIES's Juan Pueblo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bienvenido Largacha took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Best Castray. Best Castray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bienvenido Largacha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Best Castray made a huge save. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pueblo in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bienvenido Largacha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Best Castray was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. With a little luck, ARGIES's Best Castray got control of the ball when Leonides Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes in the game, Pierre-Antoine Naudon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
