If Higinio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Bihar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Primeiro Mancina hit a great ball. Saul Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bienvenido Largacha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Leonides Tajo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Suarez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bienvenido Largachas short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Saul Suarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Rio's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quitilipi's goalkeeper Saul Suarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Arí Lucas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Rio to make the kick off. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bienvenido Largacha in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Higinio Dolfo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quitilipi's Saul Suarez. Saul Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Lartaun in the 59th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Rio in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Esteban Ikatz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rafaela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, Bienvenido Largacha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Suarez. Quitilipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bienvenido Largacha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 87th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Saul Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Strong came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Gonzo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Gonzo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Suarez saved Quitilipi from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rafaela FC had played much better football throughout.
