The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Herminio Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Mariano Corderro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Esteban Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Pero hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Mariano Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Roderigo having to interfere. Esteban Savion came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Trinchera FC's Mariano Corderro. But to his dismay, Mariano Corderro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Salomon in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mariano Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Matthew in the 22nd minute of play. When Mariano Corderro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Esteban Savion was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Esteban Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Dimas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes in the game, Eloy Dimas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Esteban Savion having to interfere. Mariano Corderro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Esteban Savion 27 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Eloy Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cristo Salomon hit a great ball. Mariano Corderro in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Esteban Savion, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Leonard Răzvan got a free kick in the 38th minute. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Mariano Matthew got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Dimas in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Corderro was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Dimas to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Matthew. Roque Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Dimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Celio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Trinchera FC's corner Sebastian Celio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteban Savion quite easily take care of the ball. After 71 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS got a freekick which was hit by Mario Felipillo. The audience cheered when Sebastian Celio's long shot passed Esteban Savion's right side. It was 3-0, 72 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mariano Corderro sped through CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteban Savion. Trinchera FC made a substitution. Aureliano Quilo replaced Siro Cedro. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Leonard Răzvan got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Dimas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Savion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Mariano Corderro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Savion was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Mariano Corderro sped through CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteban Savion. Trinchera FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
