Armando Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Corderro in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 9th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Godofredo Quilino went to the cornerflag to take it. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Roderigo having to make a save. In the 20th minute Rodolfo Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo got control of the ball when Adrián Espadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Rodolfo Atarrabi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herminio Roderigo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 50 minutes Trinchera FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zézinho Neiva who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Herminio Roderigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Corderro to make the kick off. In the 65th minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Roderigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute, Siro Cedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes, Răzvan Necula made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Răzvan Necula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 86th minute Eloy Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Dionisio Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinchera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 93rd minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Trinchera FC's Hermengildo Niguel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Armani. That made the score 5-1 after 98 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soroca F.C. had won after a very even match.
