Los Trip were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Mercado Paulista F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. CJ Asensio took the corner. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Los Trip's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by CJ Asensio in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jayvier came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mercado Paulista F.C were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Los Trip's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Arixo took the corner. Agustín Rossi was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Sebastian Jayvier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Jayvier really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Los Trip's Bruno Capello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Arquett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Trip's CJ Asensio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernando Arquett in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Los Trip's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Sebastian Jayvier scored to the left of an out of position Agustín Rossi, making the score, 2-0. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Capello in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Alphonse Winnepennincks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Bruno Capello made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Bruno Capello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Arquett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 57 played minutes Los Trip got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Capello. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Los Trip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Lammertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Elequemedo came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Trip's Arsenio Perutxo was substituted for Bruno Capello. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 81st minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Arixo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Castro in the 96th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Fernando Arquett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Arquett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Castro went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Many of Los Trip's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Los Trip may have spent more time on the ball, but Mercado Paulista F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
