After having played for 4 minutes, Toto Škarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toto Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Škarpa in the 4th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Fernando Arquett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, one of Patricio Rey Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patricio Rey Futbol Club. 6 minutes into the match, Jonathan Arixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Pacifico. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Arixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute Sebastian Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Arixo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Stark in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett got control of the ball when Nick Stark tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nick Stark received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Arquett came out and tried to block the shot, but Nick Stark slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Mercado Paulista F.C got a corner. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Arixo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jonathan Arixo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico did a great save. In the 22nd minute Sebastian Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Jayvier scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Pacifico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferdinand Agachi made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mercado Paulista F.C's Caco de Sena. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett got control of the ball when Nick Stark tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Telo Estruch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Telo Estruch could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Virgilio Pacifico however easily saved by the left post. 54 minutes into the game, one of Patricio Rey Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patricio Rey Futbol Club:s Virgilio Pacifico showed great skill when he stopped Jonathan Arixo:s penalty. The supporters of Patricio Rey Futbol Club booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toto Škarpa in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Pacifico. That made the score 1-3 after 60 minutes of play. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Jayvier in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Pacifico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo to fire away a dangerous shot which Virgilio Pacifico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo-Hernán Montiel in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Arquett saved Mercado Paulista F.C from getting behind. In the 77thth minute of the game Toto Škarpa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Yağızhan Yurdaşen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ferdinand Agachi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Virgilio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo George came free, but Fernando Arquett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Jonathan Arixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercado Paulista F.C and the Patricio Rey Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Arixo to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 96th minute of the match. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
