In the 25th minute, Simon Rioja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sukma Adriansyah in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. Ullún's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Lupu in the 29th minute. Lionel 柯景俊 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Hats made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Yala's zone, Andriy Shevchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal and Andriy Shevchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Sukma Adriansyah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Curcio. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Curcio should have stopped the shot. Freddy Claude hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lionel 柯景俊 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Sten Kielberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Freddy Valentine hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Andriy Shevchenko sped through Yala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Curcio.
