In the 6th minute, Franco Alfonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Masters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 9th minute, Danilo Deambrosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Raimundo Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Argentino de Banfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Castulo couldn't finish the play. Leonides Valentine came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by The Masters's Franco Alfonso. But to his dismay, Franco Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Folkert Vos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Nesor in the 17th minute of play. The Masters's Folkert Vos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Nesor in the 19th minute of play. Federico Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ishmael in the 27th minute of play forced The Masters's goalkeeper Folkert Vos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentino de Banfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Castulo in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Alfonso in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Alfonso hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Masters were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Argentino de Banfield's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Luis Neves took the corner. In the 43rd minute Franco Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Leonides Valentine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Franco Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Valentine came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Masters's Franco Alfonso. But to his dismay, Franco Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 76 minutes into the game, The Masters's Franco Alfonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Folkert Vos was a little too slow when Lavan Querubin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 4-1. If Franco Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the game, Danilo Jobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentino de Banfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Masters the free kick. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Danilo Jobo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Franco Alfonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, The Masters's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Castulo came free, but Folkert Vos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
